What it does to your body!

What does luekemia do to your body?

When you have leukemia it is really hard for you to stay healthy and fight infections. You could go outside and be out there on a bit of a chilly day, and then next day you would have a cold just from being outside for a half hour or so. The reason you get so sick is because your body doesn't make the white blodd cells and those are the cells that help fight the infections. This disease makes you tired, not hungry, always sick, in the hospitol all the time, and most of the time you die from having. It would be a miracle if you lived from having luekemia.
This picture is by google images. In the picture this girl has things tape to her head. She is sleeping cause she is tired. And her eyes are all bruised. This little girl is probably in the last stages of the disease. I really hope they find a cure for this disease because I don't think anyone should have to go through this.

  1. That photo is hauntingly truthful. That is a good description of the picture. You spelled hospital wrong. I never knew about what leukemia could do to you. That picture alone also makes me hope there can one day be a cure for leukemia. I like the description of chilly day.

  3. The image makes such an impression! Is the info about getting sick so quickly on a cold day true? I think there's a lot of evidence out there that suggests cold temperatures don't make us sick. Check this one and other facts. How long does the average person live after being diagnosed? You say it would be a miracle to live with it . . . for how long? Do you mean go into remission?

Logistical stuff: you misspell leukemia in the site title. You can fix this by going to "customize" and "edit header." Neither of your hyperlinks work. Don't cite the picture as "Google images"--click on the photo inside Google images and cite the page it takes you to. Also, some basic spelling and sentence-level errors--proofread.

  4. Your article is very impacting. I didn't know you could get that sick from going outside with Leukemia. The only thing to work on is where the image came from instead of just putting google images. This is a really great blog.
